You are not alone in your pet loss grief.

We are here to support you on every step of your path. Whether you are coping with a recent loss, fearing the loss of a beloved pet, or just figuring out how to adjust to life without your pet.

Our team of experienced grief specialists have brought empathy, and genuine commitment to

1k + pet parents.

When a pet dies—or is nearing the end—life can feel off-balance and strangely quiet. Friends may want to help, but not know how. Some people may even dismiss the depth of your pain. Here, no one asks you to “move on.” Instead, we sit with you right where you are, honor the bond you shared, and remind you that grief is love looking for a new place to go.

This is one of the only spaces I have where I feel safe to fully express my grief, and it always helps to hear others talk about the pets they loved, too.

We started Pet Loss Community in 2021 after seeing just how isolated and alone pet parents across the country feel after losing a pet. Losing a pet is devastating, yet so many pet parents feel isolated as they process this grief. We’re determined to change that.

We started as two vets and a psychologist with a vision of becoming the go-to place for support for pet parents hurting from pet loss grief across the country. Now we have a team comprised of Licensed Social Workers with training and special interest in supporting the humans that love and care for pets and we are helping pet parents across the globe.
